Learning Computer Repair can Save you Money

Author: Shane Mcclane

In my younger days I was very much a business man, always looking for ways to bring in some green. One of the ways I made a fair bit of cash was from computer repair. Being exposed to computers since my infancy I took on the challenge of learning computer repair at such a young age; I had to do alot of research but eventually I gained the skills. I haven't built or repaired computers since high school; so when my laptop, the device I use most on a daily basis, started overheating I was thrown back into the computer repair world.
Being a university student I don't have alot of time to research computer repair, I had to find a fast way to renew my skills. After browsing the web on my smart phone I found a video course that was perfect for my situation. It was the Computer Repair Mastery Course ( I'll provide a link later ). The course contains 9 hours of video that goes through 20 essential lessons, has a companion handbook, and a Diagnostic CD. Thankfully the chapters were well organized and I was able to find the proper lessons for diagnosing and fixing my problem. Turns out my laptop had accumulated alot of dirt and dust from being placed on my dorm desk, all I needed to do was open it up and blast it with some compressed air. Once I fixed the problem I was able to watch the rest of the course on the big screen again, not my phones 3.5" screen. The course was quite in depth yet fast paced and I definately re-sharpened my skills, and even learned some new things too.
Be it young or old I would recommend learning the skills necessary for personal computer repair. Anyone can learn them, and it can definately help those who struggle with technology understand their computers alot better. The Computer Repair Mastery Course is an excellent way to learn, and can save alot of headaches for those who hate reading through countless snippets of articles. It only cost me 67$ which is less then the repair store would have charged, even for a simple fix. Not to mention that it will save me future runs to the store and future money. You can check out the course here.

  1. “Be it young or old I would recommend learning the skills necessary for personal computer repair.” -- You got that right, Shane. It could serve as a good survival skill in the society that we have today, which everything almost has to do with computer technology. Having sufficient knowledge in repairing your laptop/computer, would help you save fees paid in having it repaired by a professional.
